CasaWare's ceramic non-stick coating is made without any "Forever Chemicals." The silicate/glass-based ceramic non-stick coating is derived from quartz sand, a chemically inert and relatively hard mineral. This coating is Lead Free, PTFE Free, PFOS Free, PTFE Free, Cadmium Free, and PFAS free.

Ceramic Non-Stick Technology Provides a Greater Baking Experience. CasaWare's pans feature a non-stick ceramic coating that is both durable and easy to clean. The coating is heat-tolerant up to 450°F, with no peeling or blistering at high temperatures. The pans are made from carbon steel and are aluminum-free. The food slides off easily, and the pans are very easy to clean by simply wiping or scrubbing softly.

Before first use, users should remove all packaging materials and labels, wash the products in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Plastic, rubber, silicone, or wooden utensils are recommended, and users should avoid using sharp objects or metal utensils, which can scratch the non-stick surface. The products should be hand-washed only with a soft cloth or sponge and non-abrasive cleansers or liquid dish soap in warm water, and then dried with a soft towel. Soaking in water and dishwasher use are not recommended.

The 12-inch by 12-inch baking size is perfect for many toaster ovens, with exterior product dimensions of 12.75 x 12.75 x 0.5 inches. The pans can also be used in a traditional oven.
