Before first use, CasaWare recommends removing all packaging materials and labels, washing the product in warm soapy water, rinsing, and drying thoroughly with a soft cloth. Plastic, rubber, silicone, or wooden utensils are recommended, and it is advised to avoid using sharp objects or metal utensils, as they can scratch the non-stick surface. The products should be cooled completely before washing, and hand washing with a soft cloth or sponge and non-abrasive cleansers or liquid dish washing soap in warm water is recommended. Rinsing and drying with a soft towel is also advised, and the products should not be soaked in water or put in the dishwasher.
